The National Green Factory certificate is based on an assessment of a company’s achievements in terms of infrastructure, management systems, energy resources, product condition and emissions reduction. Hitachi noted it has dedicated itself to clean manufacturing, selecting environmentally friendly raw materials, reducing the amount of energy used in the production process, using environmental packaging and upgrading procedures in connection with the installation of new elevators and escalators.
