The hour long pre-recorded show features songs and an interview with me, Kiva Johns-Adkins and an Indie Artist from the station's rotation. This week's guest is German native, Lukka, who is currently living in New York City, after touring the world. Classicly trained before teaching herself to play the guitar, Lukka released her first EP, "March Playing" before touring the world in 2012. Her sound is heavily influenced by 60's and 70's bands like The Rolling Stones. Born just as the Berlin Wall came down, Lukka learned to appreciate this music, which her father would purchase, wrapped in brown paper, without knowing the music he would take home.
