Dare To Begin - Small & Mighty

Today I’m thinking deeply on how we lean into big conversations, topics that include politics and religion and more and how we talk about them with our partners and friends and colleagues. What is my partner hearing, for example, when I express frustration at the ‘rich white straight men’ and their negative influence on the world? How can I choose words that don’t send the message: ‘you’re a straight white man therefore you are also bad by default’? Today is a big, deep topic and I ask your kindness and openness as we wade into the waters. And I leave you with a challenge to consider how you engage in these conversations. Let’s lean in together.
