Detours are always unexpected and often lead to shame or blame or paralysis. What if God was using the detours in our life to develop us in order to fully realize His will for our lives? Series Description As humans, we often experience highs and lows in life. Rarely are we able to comprehend God’s ultimate purposes and sovereignty in our lives. Especially as we navigate the highs and lows. The Bible often answers our lack of understanding not with “why,” but with “who.” The story of Joseph, in the book of Genesis, is a story of extreme highs and lows. Through his story, we get glimpses of the why behind his highs and lows, but more importantly, we’re reminded of WHO is with when we experience highs and lows. In this series, we’re going to grapple with the will of God and how in the seemingly uncertain moments of life we can be assured of His presence.
