The Rangers and the Islanders are heading into the playoffs now that the NHL regular season ended yesterday. Gio said the Rangers have the most pressure on them because they have the best record in the league and the best regular season they’ve ever had. Gio wonders about the Presidents’ Trophy curse and how that will affect the Rangers. Jerry returns for his last update of the day and has more classic John Sterling calls. He went on with Evan and Tiki and he said he just doesn’t want to do any more work. Jerry has the great Sterling call from the Rick Camp game on July 4th 1985 when he was the Braves announcer.
