In 1984 he met Rene van Verseveld and started to produce with him at Future Sound Studios, Utrecht. Around 1989, after van Verseveld started more and more to drift into House and Techno music, Hartman started other cooperations and continued his production activities like co writing T Spoon's No Time To Waste, producing an album with Room 42 incl 3 hitsingles, and produced a lot of Techno House like The X and Anthrophia During the 1990's he more and more concentrated on engineering and recording activities. Later, he was engineering at the famous Wisseloord Studios. These days still active with a lot of Chill Out projects and since 2022 runs a recordlabel Random Vinyl with partner in crime Arnoud Aalbersberg focussed on R
