This Is Horatio

 It wastes no time at all setting out with a half-bar loop of (you guessed it) bleeps sitting atop a stomping kick before an equally stomping bassline slides underneath with the subtlety of a herd of bulls in a Royal Doulton factory. That's the general theme here, too - subtlety is avoided in favor of abrasive, repetitive 909 elements  quite ferociously, into your brain. In lesser hands this tune could be an irritating bag of noise but into New Work duo this  production makes it enjoyable, effective and massively memorable.Horatio's remix has much trippier approach by taming the abrasiveness of some of the sounds and using delays and reverb expertly.The remix arrives like a V8 narcotic: raw, hard and strong. The groove is key to a lot of classic techno but here it’s relevant as opposed to boring: this one packs more groove than James Brown freestyling naked. Horatiotakes precious time with his productions and it shows: so many elements and neat touches carry it through flickering, spitting and dipping around
