When you meet Linda Ballesteros you sense that something is different about her and feel drawn to know her better.  You immediately know her energy is positive, engaging and approachable.  As you get to know her better, you also discover that she is gifted in empowering others to pursue their own dreams.  Cyndy experienced something that changed her life.  Cyndy's husband, Dan, and her were hit by a drunk driver on February 4, 2005. Dan was killed instantly, and she has a permanent visual impairment. As a result, Cyndy and her son participate in a program called Shattered Lives each Spring to help make high school juniors and seniors aware of the consequences of decisions they make, particularly drinking and driving. Cyndy lives by this quote:  "Bad decisions limit future options."  It is true in every circumstance of life, but I always end my talk with it at Shattered Lives.
