Titkia is a single mom of three kids running a registered daycare center in my home in northwest Houston.  The kids and I are preparing for a half marathon in Anchorage, Alaska, to raise $20,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  I did my first half marathon with the LLS as a way to do something for others as part of my divorce recovery a few years ago, but it was such a wonderful experience that I wanted to do it again as soon as possible.  But soon after that, I lost my father to cancer, and watched my mother battle breast cancer.  Now our race is for my father's memory and my mother's honor.  We are looking for individual donors and businesses, as well as opportunities for fundraising events, to help us meet our goal.  We would like to complete our fundraising by the end of April.   I grew up in Massapequa Park on Long Island,New York.I moved to Utah and eventually finished a Masters in Organizational Management.My career was in software or nutraceutical sales until I was having to go on disability d
