If you would have asked me about running a martial arts school full time 3 years ago I would have said "NO WAY". Fast forward to now & here I sit, owner & senior instructor of Texas Coast Karate. Many events led to this, of course. In 2008, I became one of the few African American masters of Tang Soo Do. That, along with my arrival to the Houston area, set in motion a series of events to lead me to start a school right in the middle of Houston!
