"In Other Words…" What does the government think of US?

Informações:

Sinopsis

There's tons of polls taken on how American see their government.  But until now, no one's thought to ask how our government see us.  Hopkins political scientists Benjamin Ginsberg and Jennifer Bachner did, and their findings were touched on in an article in the Sunpaper, with the headline: "Feds are whiter, richer, more liberal than most Americans."  Their findings were that the people who make policy that governs us are very out of touch with the people they are making the regulations for.  Hiatuses were built into the congresses schedule not as vacations.  The point was to use that time to go back to their home towns, talk to their constituents, watch what was happening there.  That was how they were to stay in touch with the people.  But that's not how it's being done now.  Click here to see the paper Ben Ginsberg and Jen Bachner wrote.
