"I wasn't born into a family of singers", says Ashlyn Metheny, "it's just something I've always known I wanted to do." In 2004, at the age of 14, Ashlyn won the Colgate Country Showdown and earned the honor of performing at the Arkansas State Fair. She has opened shows for Ricochet, John Anderson, Bobby Bare and others.
