For some reason it seems like great minds are often prone to great shortcomings. Some of the most creative artist from painters to musicians have often come with VERY HUGE PERSONAL ISSUES that make you question their greatness. In the music industry, we can argue that drugs are often the culprit in such cases. Talented people tend to get caught up in the wave that is the industry, only to realize the water is full of sharks and a tremendous undertow. I often meet very talented individuals that are some of the worse personalities you could ever meet. But then, exactly what does that have to do with their music and if it's good? More then ANY other field I can think of, MUSICIANS are allowed to just be plain bad people without recourse. If you are a FAN of an artist, you will tolerate some extreme behavior from that artist and excuse some bad behavior, because you love their music. Is this good? Who knows, I have never been the type to try and hold artist up to some "standard" like they are a politician or a me
