There is a digital war going on in hip hop. Battle lines have been drawn, and fought over. You win some and you loose some as they say, but to me if you are really tuned in to Indie Hip Hop artist you are ahead of the game. This is the thing: THE MUSIC YOU HEAR ON THE RADIO IS NOT CONTROLLED BY PEOPLE THAT HAVE A LOT IN COMMON WITH YOU. This is the sad reality to of it all. Keeping in mind one truth when it comes to music: WE ALIKE WHAT WE LIKE, BUT WE CAN BE PROGRAMMED TO LIKE WHAT THEY WANT US TO. Funny how us "highly intelligent" beings can at times be no different from a herd of cattle isn't it? So tonight I will give you some reasons that I think you would be better off listening to Indie Music then you will be listening to mainstream music. First let me tell you the NEGATIVES:  1) the music may not SOUND as big an clear as major artist 2) the good music and artist are often harder to find since they are not promoted as much 3) you may not be able to get it the way you like to get your music because I
