Probably the worst part of being a black person is precieved and actual fact based feelings about us in the work place. No other minority group in this country has a more negative forcasted future, and a worse reputation of sticking together. Pretty depressing, but that didn't just happen over night. At one point we had a common cause that made us stick together, stay with our families and work hard. Now we are pegged as lazy workers, with poor customer service that don't support our own people. WTF happened to this picture! I can admit I am a pepetraitor of such thoughts about us. I actually avoid a food service establishment, especially a fast food/quick dinner spot that had all black people working there. And sadly its because I've become used to poor service from an all black establishment. I know this is wrong and isn't ALWAYS the case, but like me and a lot of others we didn't formulate this belief on a whim.
