Sometimes people can live life with blinders on. It may be a way to cope with a problem that they have no answer for, or it may be that they don't even know that a problem exist. I think we all have been a guilty of this at some point in our life. We just don't like to look at the ugly side of ourselves or someone we love. Instead we just Deny the Obvious, that we or that person is an alcoholic, abusive, has a gambling problem, or sometimes that they really don't love you. Sometimes the OBVIOUS TRUTH is so painful or difficult to face it's easier to Deny it. But the thing about that is it ALWAYS comes a point that you can't deny it anymore. This phenomenon isn't just closed to people, there are governments that practice this, mainly our own. We are in denial that this country is going in the tank , but it in fact is if we don't change a lot of things.
