REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD. Thus another classic saying that has been used for as far back as people can remember, and in all of it's sinister sounding clarity, it's also true. Revenge is something that people can act out before they even know it. You know it can be a very big act of REVENGE like screwing your mans friend because he cheated, or as simple as not letting someone over in the next lane because they rode too close to you a few miles back. Both of these are acts of REVENGE which is defined as: "To inflict punishment in return for injury or insult". So every time you didn't do that extra thing at work because your supervisor did some BS to you, that was REVENGE. Every time you didn't answer that person call because the last two times you called them, that was REVENGE. Now the saying that it is best served cold mean that REVENGE is felt and more gratifying to the person issuing it out when more time has passed between the original deed that made you want to enacte your REVENGE.
