"...am I my brothers keeper?" This quote from the bible, and movies like NEW JACK CITY has been asked plenty of times in the history of man. It is a quintessential question we ask ourselves as much as we ask 'how did we get here'. But throughout our history we have proven that over and over again, mankind doesn't feel like we are our brothers keeper. The way our fellow man has murdered and enslaved each other is a testament to that. I believe people for the most part don't feel like they are there brothers/sisters keeper unless they came from the same BLOOD. Of course even then it doesn't matter sometime. You have people who claim to be religious and use the bible as a guide on how to live, but still will not help a stranger in need, because they have their own issues. Human beings like to THINK we are at the top of the evolution chain, but really we aren't even CLOSE! We are NOT our brothers keeper. We do NOT care for one another unless we KNOW each other.
