Sinopsis
Jerry Lee Lewis' career is a storied example of an artist who had something brewing in him as to what his vision was of Rock and Roll music. Dick Clark has called him one of the Founding Fathers of Rock and Roll and Sam Phillips, the founder of Sun Records calls him a music genius. Many great artists came out of Sun Records including Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee. Elvis of course had those swiveling hips and shaking legs and Jerry Lee had that unique R&B, rockabilly piano sound along with a jumping and rocking body that constantly was infusing rhythm into his songs. But beyond all the shaking they also had one important thing and that is that they made great records. Their songs were imbedded in the minds of teenagers and others because they were classics. Two of Jerry Lee's biggest hits were "Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On" and "Great Balls of Fire." He had a lot of tragedy in his life with the loss of a three year old son in a swimming pool accident
