Her debut song 'O Holy Night' debuted at #2 on Billboard making her the top selling debut artist for 2010 and her album went platinum in December of that year. She has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and also plays the piano and violin. She is also that rare artist that has 'Raw Talent.'  If one were to compare her to someone it would be fair to say that someone would be Susan Boyle.
