Rockford police say officers were called to a local hospital around 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, after someone came in with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. In police documents filed in court, officers said the victim was not cooperative, did not give “information of evidentiary value” and did not want to press charges. Later, police said Moore contacted them saying she was involved in the shooting. According to court documents, Moore reported to officers she was driving her son to his friends’ house on March 31 when he asked to go to the Rambo gas station at 2211 Charles Street. Moore told police her son went inside the business and later a gray car parked next to her.
