Resonance Reflection Photography

Hello everyone. Welcome to my seventeenth installment of my creative world that I call Resonance Reflection Photography. My name is Marcel Comeau, and I'm a landscape photographer based in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Each week I post my work online for the world to see and enjoy. This week's photo was taken out on a moonlit night in Cowichan Bay. I was in the midst of contemplating how I wanted to end my day of photography when I saw the moon rising from the horizon. Instantly I knew I had to take the time to capture this beautiful natural event. I found the nearest beach I could get onto, and without planning out the composition, I started shooting long exposure shots towards the moon. I love how the image turned out. You have the moon shining over the calm water, while you see boats with their lights on in the distance. It turned out to be a different style of photograph compared to what I usually go for.
