CEO of Memorable Events by Apryl , Apryl Roberts, sits down and shares her story with host CB Baker. Apryl's story to success was far from traditional. Honor roll student with aspirations of being a lawyer was interrupted when she became pregnant at the age of 16. Due to a strong family support and the active father of the new born baby, Apryl went on to intern with music producer Teddy Riley and intern at DEF Jam Records. She turned her experience working in the music industry into a national full event production firm. She now handles celebrity, non-profit, corporate and social events worldwide. She's currently working with Settle Seahawks, Kam Chancellor and his Kam Cares Foundation for their celebrity weekend, The Foodbank (Taste of Hampton Roads, Donor receptions) and just secured a contract with Dave & Busters.
