Iei Mooc-ed: World Class Teaching

Listen to Tennessee’s Governor Bill Haslam as he discusses the multi-tiered approach his state is taking to improving teacher quality and educational outcomes. In the past several years Tennessee has been recognized for rapid improvements in its public education system. Governor Haslam will discuss how wise thinking on teacher tenure, evaluation, and school leadership training can advance the teaching profession. He gives examples of how good public policy has delivered students an improved education and a better job outlook, while making Tennessee a more economically competitive state.
