October is #greatriverrescue month, a national campaign to clear up our waterways from well… largely #plastic. The #Thames is the heart of #London and Londoners are no strangers to getting down the waterside and clearing up. Last month our reporter Phoebe took part in Thames21’s big bottle count where more than forty thousand bottles were collected by 200 volunteers over 19 sites in just 1 day.
