In a new series, Tooth Picks, Derrick selects his favourite tastemakers from all over the world. In the inaugural episode, Tooth Picks features Zac Boswell from LA. With a Los Angeles childhood and formative years spent in Tokyo, and all the travel, Zac developed a love for the moments in between. Now an art director and creative strategist based in LA after a long stint in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he finds joy in music that shifts moods and pairs well with movement. Zac is also the co-founder of th-oughts (th-oughts.com), a person-to-person education service, and "captain" of Kurume Friendship Club (kurumefc.com), a former indoor soccer team converted into a vehicle for adventure. This mix pairs well with movement and is best enjoyed, well, anywhere, but especially when on the move/in the seams, or observing things that are on the move.
