First introduced as the Super Patriot in Captain America 323, John Walker soon assumed the mantle of Cap himself, when Steve Rogers rejected the Government's insistence that he work exclusively for them, as they 'owned' the concept of the Sentinel of Liberty. Following a huge fall from grace as he struggled to cope with the expectations that came from being Captain America, Walker resurfaced some time later as 'Jack Dani
