Prince Paul is most famous for his work with De La Soul and made some immense strides in the way sampling was handled in the 80’s/90’s. In this interview we break down what changes happened within hip hop to get where we are today. We also talk about sampling then vs. now. Blockhead is a super knowledgeable person about the history of hip hop. This interview is so informative and covers how we approach the ever changing landscape that rap music has experienced. Blockhead has worked with a multitude of people from Illogic to Aesop rock. This NYC based producer is not afraid to let his weird style shine through.
