Introducing Nikimarie

Chris Weaver, a 29-year-old New York native, grabbed America’s attention last September, opening Season 13 of The Voice with “Try A Little Tenderness” turning all four chairs! Chris’ soulful sounds even caused judges to throw articles of clothing in enjoyment of his sound. As if that wasn’t enough, Chris then introduced himself as a worship leader by day and drag queen by night! Chris continued to advance in the competition finishing in the Top 24, an untimely elimination indeed. Last December Weaver was brought back to perform in the season finale, where he introduced the world to his drag persona, Nedra Belle. Nedra performed “Bang Bang” alongside music superstar, Jessie J, and NYC singing drag group, Stephanie’s Child. While still leading worship on Sundays and doing weekly drag shows in New York City, Weaver says that he is living his dream by being able to travel and perform as both Chris and Nedra.
