Saturday Mass With Miss Sabado

The attack in Las Vegas was the worst mass shooting in the United States in modern times and has once again raised questions about gun ownership and whether there should be tougher controls. I happened to be on the strip in Las Vegas with my entire family, celebrating my mother’s 60th birthday when the attack occurred at the Mandalay Bay. We were so lucky to walk away unharmed, but with any slight turn of events, it could have very well been us. The idea of that thought left us in a state of shock. I can’t begin to imagine how those affected by this tragedy must be feeling. My heart and prayers go out to every single person and community left harrowed by this. Let us learn from our mistakes and be better to each other, for the sake of our children and for our future. Reverence for life.
