Matthew 7:1-12 As we come to the close of 2018 Jesus invites us to assume a posture of introspection. We are being invited to assume a posture of humility as we anticipate 2019 and what Jesus wants to do in it. ““Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” We typically read this passage with the subject of prayer (which is correct), but notice it's in the context of our need for wisdom and even follows Jesus utterance of a proverb. What a way to begin 2019 …praying the prayer of faith …looking to our God expectantly and with utter confidence in His goodness!
