Ps Aaron finishes our Christmas series teaching from the passage in Luke 2, "today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah". The Christmas narrative is not telling you what you should do but what God has already done. In a world where peace is harder and harder to come by, a world filled with fear, anxiety and and political turmoil, Christmas tells us that we can’t save ourselves, but we can for ourselves find salvation.
