From Harley Quinn to Wonder Woman, and from Iceman to Painkiller Jane there are a number of characters in both the Marvel and DC universes who provide sexual diversity to today’s comic book roster. But it was not always this way. As KJ and the Lady Archer discuss, it was taboo to even bring the topic forward as late as 1981 under conservative editors and organizations like the Comics Code Authority.
