In episode 87 of the Deekast I am joined by Nicholas Picholas the former host of Video & Arcade Top 10. Nick hosted the show from 1991 to 2006. It was the longest running Canadian Kids Game Show on Television. Nick and I discuss his radio and DJ career, the origins of Video & Arcade Top 10 and how he got to host the show, the show as a precursor to e-sports, violence in video games and how the show handled it, the crappy prizes on the show, Nick breaking records for US airplay by Canadian artists such as The Barenaked Ladies, Alanis Morisette and Tom Cochrane, the possibility of a new form of Video & Arcade, and Ramakers (The Dutch Store).
