With Matt Atkins Back in the 90s well-known music worship leader Brian Doerksen did a musical called "The Father‘s Heart." The music was incredible and it came out of teaching that was going around at the time on the subject of the Father’s heart and God‘s love for us. For a lot of people, including me, it was life-changing as we experienced and understood God’s love in a deeper way. I mention all of that to say that I heard Brian speak about putting that musical together and the way in which the teaching impacted him at a small gathering a couple of months ago. And I had the thought at the time that I would like to speak to my friend Matt Atkins about the subject too because Matt's been teaching on it for probably 30 years to people all over the world. Matt is a good friend, he’s a pastor and a financial planner. For me, this interview was another great reminder to rest and find my identity in God‘s love.
