David is also a respected solo artist and Grammy winning producer and music director of special events, including both of President Clinton's inaugurations. In addition to Ambrosia, David has been a key collaborator in the music industry. He is well known for his duet with Bette Midler on multiplatinum Beaches soundtrack on Atlantic, and collaborated and performed with Michael McDonald & James Ingram on “Maria” from The Songs Of West Side Story; Wynonna on “Why Now” track from The Other Side CD.
