08/29/2018  The Fruits of The Holy Spirit and How to live a life of self control in a way that is pleasing to God . One of the greatest struggles for a Christian is to be set apart. To not live in or react to the flesh in a way that disgraces the God that we claim to serve. The power of our speech and actions represent God. Psalms 119 says “How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against the”. If we memorize the fruits of the spirit from Galatians 5:22-23 and review these in our mind when we are tempted to act out, we will begin to serve and glorify the Holy Spirt in our thoughts and actions.
