Just recently it’s become more and more obvious that many many channels are still using follow unfollow as a marketing strategy, in the hope that those channels they follow will follow them back and then when they unfollow they’ll stay as a follower. Stop assuming that following someone will automatically mean they’ll follow you back. If your content sucks, or is of no value to your audience, why would they follow you back? I’m seeing this a lot on my own channel, and seeing a huge number of people with numbers like 200 followers and 6000 followed accounts. You have got to STOP CHASING VANITY METRICS Concentrate on creating an account that people care about the value you’re giving, concentrate on creating a channel that the audience interacts with your content. The sooner you stop worrying about having 10,000 followers and worry about the 100 you have liking your content in the first place.
