Aaron Crook is an Australian National Beach Volleyball champion, and a recent finisher of the 2019 Marathon Des Sables race. This race is a gruelling 240km foot race through the Sahara Desert, spanning over six day. Aaron tells the story of how he basically just searched online for the hardest challenge he could find, and a year later completed the MDS race despite a very limited experience with long distance running.
