This week, Blizzard announced a subscription loss of 1.5 million for Q2 this year. Hopefully this week’s expansion announcement at Gamescom will help keep the balance! Mick Montgomery (host of The Starting Zone, StormCast and more) joins the CtR crew as they tackle the recent sub loss and possible reasons behind it. Even though WoW remains the top MMORPG, there seems to be a lot of criticism over Warlords of Draenor. Do the numbers reflect a failure by Blizzard to hold a particular audience, or is it that the MMO genre is losing ground overall?
