MEET CECILIA FERRON:Cecilia Ferron is an Italian violinist. She began studying the violin at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. She completed the first part of her musical growth with Maestro Fabrizio Pavone at the Conservatoire de la Vallée d'Aoste she continued her studies at the Music Academy in Hamburg, Germany, where she obtained her Master with full marks. She specializes in Berlin with A. Frolov Chestiglazov (St. Petersburg Philharmonic), Yoshiaki Shibata, Alina Pogostkina (soloist and winner of the Sibelius 2005 competition, Helsinki). She has also participated in international masterclasses with Fabrizio Pavone, Mark Gothoni, Natalia Prishepenko. Currently, she plays regularly as first violin in the Orchestra of the Komische Oper of Berlin, in the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin - DSO, , with the Berliner Symphoniker, Brandenburger Symphoniker, Kammer Orchester Berlin, Babelsberg Film Orchestra, Berliner Camerata.
