Susan Hay from Global TV joined us this morning to tell us about a special Global News will be airing on Good Friday entitled “Making a Difference: Miracle Makeover” at dinner-time all across Ontario. The special features the story of a family with two autistic children. Unfortunately their children suffer from severe tantrums, which has caused the kids to damage their home significantly over the years. With their house in disrepair and their mortgage ballooning to keep up with child care costs, Susan helps provide the family a special gift – enlisting a design team and host of local volunteers to overhaul every room in their home, “damage-proofing” their home in the process.
