Go back to 1989, after a tumultuous decade, it looked like Jagger and Richards would never share a stage again but Torontonian Michael Cole was able to bring the band back together for what would be the Steel Wheels tour. The joke at the time was calling the tour the ‘Steel Wheelchairs’ tour, with the members of the Stones being around 40 at the time. 30 years on from the Steel Wheelchairs tour and the Rolling Stones are still rockin' and rollin', coming back to Toronto this summer to play at Burl's Creek. On this episode we talk about the band's career, what to expect at the upcoming Canada Day Stones show and we make some predictions on what potential Canadian acts might open up the event.
