Overall, the Buckeyes appear to have a very strong secondary. ** Cam Martinez is the backup slot safety behind Tanner McCalister, but Martinez is also repping some at corner to add depth there. ** The Buckeyes are extremely deep at safety. The starters will be McCalister, Ronnie Hickman (adjuster) and Josh Proctor (bandit). The top backups will be Martinez, Lathan Ransom and Kourt Williams. ** Jim Knowles doesn't like to rotate too much in the secondary, but he seems very high on Ransom and Williams. They will play.
