Sinopsis

The show kicks off with broadcast debuts of new and unreleased tracks from locals Culture Reject, Urban Waters and Thresher before making a nod to local garage rock past and present with a Beastie Boys cover courtesy of Quarantine, the Krueger Band's ode to the Tombstones and The Weber Bros. chime in with a song about the late great Ronnie Hawkins. The heart and soul of this episode is an interview with Beverly Glenn Copeland, who you'll also hear a song from before being serenaded by the man who booked Glenn for Summerfolk '76 and '77, Georgian Bay Roots cohost and Summerfolk founder Tim Harrison. I finally get around to playing some Alfie Fromager and Max Galactic and the Cloud of Evil on Georgian Bay Roots before wrapping up the show with the final cut from the incredible new album by The Sadies.
