In Acts 19:1-7, we take a closer look at the baptism of the Spirit and its importance to us even today. Pastor Tim encourages us to evaluate our thinking about the subject, identify misconceptions we may have, and challenges us to patiently wait on the Lord's outpouring and movement in our lives.

In Acts 18, we discover the powerful example of Priscilla and Aquila, a couple who faithfully served God and helped develop leaders in the early church. Their story reminds us that God calls and empowers both men and women for ministry, and that humility is essential in both teaching and learning. Join us as we explore what it means to embrace God's calling, empower others, and allow Scripture to shape our understanding of men AND women in leadership.

This Sunday, we welcomed our friends Nolan and Kami to share a word with us.This message shares some practical ways we can spread the Gospel to anyone we meet, and invites us to see clearly our Beautiful Jesus, our Savior and King. It challenges us to truly see how important He is, and His worthiness to share His love with others by looking at a few examples, like Stephen in Acts 6-7.

In Acts 17, Paul enters Athens—a city filled with intelligent and curious people who know little about the true God. Instead of condemning them, Paul finds common ground, builds bridges through their culture, and moves the conversation toward Jesus.His example shows us how to share our faith with those who have little or no Christian background. We’re called to connect, engage, and point people toward Jesus—trusting the Holy Spirit to draw, stir, and transform their hearts.

In Acts 17:1–15, Paul and Silas continue sharing the gospel despite opposition and persecution. In Berea, they encounter people who eagerly receive their message while examining the Scriptures for themselves. Their example challenges us to remain faithful to Jesus, become people of the Word, and allow Scripture to shape what we believe and how we live.

Continuing in Acts, chapter 16, Paul and Silas respond to suffering in a remarkable way—not with despair, but with prayer and worship. Before the prison doors ever opened, God was already doing a miracle in their hearts, and their faithfulness became the doorway for the jailer and his entire household to encounter Jesus. This message reminds us that redemption and restoration are more important than relief, and that God wastes nothing we surrender to Him.

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas experience severe persecution after an act of mercy and obedience leads to their arrest, beating, and imprisonment. Their story reminds us that following Jesus doesn’t mean avoiding hardship — in fact, persecution can come because we are faithfully doing what is right. Yet even in suffering, God can deepen our connection with Jesus, strengthen our faith, and open doors for greater ministry as we choose to follow Him no matter the cost.

Acts 15 tackles a major challenge in the early church: how Jewish and Gentile believers could become one family without adding requirements to the gospel of grace. Through the Jerusalem Council, we’re reminded that salvation comes by grace through faith alone—but spiritual maturity calls us to something more: willingly laying down our freedoms for the sake of others and living lives of purity that reflect Jesus. As followers of Christ, we’re called to pursue both unity within the church and a distinct, faithful witness to the world.

Paul and Barnabas had a sharp disagreement over John Mark that ultimately sent them in two different directions—but they continued pursuing the same mission. Their story reminds us that conflict, disappointment, our past, or the opinions of others don’t have to derail God’s calling on our lives. Rather than becoming consumed with results or comparison, we can remain focused on who God created us to be and faithfully continue the work He has given us.This Sunday, we welcomed Paul Bartles, our ONE% Men's Ministry leader to share a word with us.

In Acts 13, Paul boldly proclaims that no one can be made right with God by keeping the law—salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.This Sunday, Pastor Tim shows us why this message brought incredible joy to the Gentiles, fierce opposition from many Jews, and why the same challenge still confronts us today: Are we resting in God's grace, or trying to earn His approval through our own efforts?

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to recognize what’s truly worth fighting for and to be ready for spiritual battle. Our weapon is the Word of God—and as we know Scripture and pray it with faith, we become better equipped to stand firm and fight for the faith, freedom, and redemption of others.This Sunday, Pastor Tim leads us into Acts 13, and we notice a major shift as Paul and Barnabas are sent by the Holy Spirit to carry the gospel into new places and to new people. God often works in ways we don't expect. For example, in Acts 10–11, Peter witnesses the Holy Spirit being poured out on Gentiles, revealing that God's grace is for all people and that His Spirit cannot be confined to our traditions or expectations.This Sunday, Pastor Tim challenges us to pursue purity, humility, and unity while refusing to elevate secondary issues above the gospel. As we examine our own hearts, may we remove every obstacle to God's work and embrace the unity the Holy Spirit desires for His Church.

This Sunday, Pastor Tim focuses on Acts 10:1–23, where we see God beginning to tear down barriers as He prepares Peter to take the gospel beyond the Jewish people. Through the stories of Cornelius and Peter, the Holy Spirit can transform our perspective so we can better reflect the heart of Jesus and allow us to see people differently.

This Sunday, Pastor Tim pauses our journey through Acts to explore what Scripture teaches about Spirit baptism, spiritual language, and spiritual gifts. Looking at Acts and 1 Corinthians together, we discover that the Holy Spirit is already active in every believer’s life—and that Spirit baptism is given for empowerment, witness, and worship.
