Brittney Garcia and Angie Brown make up The Diet Doc La Grande OR. Together they bring you content and real life experiences that will help you on your quest to a meaningful and enjoyable life.Brittney Garcia is a Licensed Nutrition Consultant, Certified Personal Trainer and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is also a mother of a 7-year-old and happily married to her best friend. She loves fitness and food! Her journey started out a lot like most - unhappy with herself, inactive, but wanting change. She found herself newly graduated from massage school, working at Pizza Hut and 70lbs heavier than I am today. Nearly 7 years later I have a passion, a purpose, a family, a career and a happier outlook on life. Brittney has had a lot of ups, downs, twists and turns. Her favorite quote that she repeats to herself daily is, "Trust the timing of your life." She has set a lot of goals, and many of them were reached in a far different order then expected. In the end, she reached all of them and they happened in an order that forced her to work harder and learn more. Brittney enjoys lifting weights, cycling, hiking, yoga and spending time at home with family. Besides helping clients achieve their weight loss and maintenance goals, she also aspires to help them educate their kids on healthy eating.Angie is a mother of two incredible girls, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and marathon runner from La Grande Oregon. She grew up in an active family, her dad is an ultra marathoner, yet didn't find her love for her own health and fitness until her early thirties. She spent most of her late teens and twenties overweight. She understands, firsthand, the mental and physical battle that is necessary to really change and become the best version of yourself. Angie is constantly on a path of learning and personal growth. She believes that each day provides us with the opportunity to be better than yesterday. Take the lessons you have learned and allow them to teach you how to grow into tomorrow.Angie became part of the Diet Doc La Grande team after losing 30 pounds as Brittney's client. Brittney knew Angie had to be part of her team when she saw her passion in watching people become successful in their personal journeys through a strong community base. Brittney adds, "Bringing Angie into my business was pure necessity due to the positive personal growth she strives to build. I couldn't have found a better partner for my business!"
