It's Easter Sunday and we begin a new series call Questions addressing some of the questions that God is asking us. Why do you look for the living among the dead? Why do we pursue the things that don't satisfy?

Guest Speaker Truman Severson, youth leader from Temper Junior High Group, brings us the message this week on Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem.

Have you ever felt hunted down by God? Everywhere you turn, everywhere you try to run, there He is. Why does He do this? This is our last week of Psalm 23.

God wants to provide us with a solid, nutritious meal in Him, but too often all we want is a fast food fix. Slow down this week to savor and take in all that God has been preparing for you.

Sometimes it seems that just when everything is going right, a situation comes along and brings hard times. Why are we made to go through pain?

Which path are you on? Maybe you didn't know you were even on a path. Our decisions determine our destination; where are you headed?

When was the last time you felt at rest in life? Are you in need of restoration today?

We begin a new series this week on Psalm 23 as we focus in on the goodness and provision of our God.

When will the storm end? Why did it start at all? If God loves me, why is He letting this happen? Sometimes it seems that God is unaware of our storms, or if He is aware, He must not care. Where is God during the storm?

This week we explore the difference between passion and conviction in the example of Paul. While passion may make you get up and run into a storm, conviction is going to carry you through to the end.

The Nation of Israel was entering the promised land. After 40 years of wandering the desert of Egypt, the time had come and God was on the move. They witnessed miracles, they won battles; and then it all suddenly stopped due to one act of financial disobedience in the camp. Why? Why was that so terrible?

Talk about facing storms head on, the story of David & Goliath is packed full of extreme stormchasing through faith in God. This story isn't just for the Sunday School room anymore.

We begin our series on Stormchasers with the story of Daniel, a man who faced many storms throughout life including religious persecution. How do we respond to the storms that rise up in our lives? Does it differ from how we respond to fair skies?

We wrap up this 3 week Mission Statement series with the final element: Respond. What is God calling you to respond to today?

The 2nd element of our Mission Statement is Restore. This week we see how God longs to bring restoration to us and those around us like a mechanic restores a classic car; are we willing to give Him the title to our lives? Or do we settle for rust and rot?

We begin 2011 with our Vision series on the 3 elements of the LSCF Mission Statement: Reach, Restore, Respond.

We end our Advent series with the fourth element of Love. As we approach Christmas, we focus on the immeasurable act of Love that God demonstrated by sending us His Son Jesus.

The way the Bible talks about Joy, you'd think it was assumed that all Christians have it by nature. But when we look into our own lives do we see this constant, obvious joy? What is this joy the Bible speaks of? We are in week 3 of our Advent series.

The Bible describes Jesus as the Prince of Peace, yet oftentimes we neglect the "Prince" part. Where He rules, there is peace.

Is it just wishful thinking? We are in the Advent season, 4 weeks of anticipating the coming of Christ.
