Romans 4 is about grace through faith, not by anything that we could do. The apostle Paul uses Abraham as an example. By using Abraham, we see that faith was used before the law (i.e. the Bible) and it was Abraham's faith that saved him, not what he had done as a human.

In this message we learn that no person is exempt from sin, nor is there an index or scale to our sin. Romans 3 is very clear when it says that ALL have sinned (v.23), and no-one is righteous. To understand grace, we must first understand our sin and how much God hates that sin.
