We discuss how college is such an important time in the lives of individuals, and you will hear Jodi's deep love and desire to serve the students that God has placed in her care. We were especially impacted by Jodi's words about finding and maintaining community as an integral part of the spiritual life.

She came highly recommended to us from a number of listeners, and after reading her most recent book 'You Can Share the Faith' we couldn't wait for this interview. In our conversation with Karen, she shares with us about how she journeyed from atheism to Christianity, and how her path eventually led her, and later her husband, into the Catholic Church. She shares with us how important the witness of Christians around her were and how they helped lead her to be open to what God was calling her to. She was an absolute joy to have on our show, and we know you will leave this episode feeling inspired that you CAN share the faith!

Holoubek so eloquently describes how Jesus calls each of us to freedom, and how the Unbound ministry is a beautiful tool to achieve the peace that all our hearts seek.

Kane shares so eloquently about what it is like to serve those serving our country, and how hungry many of them are for the Sacraments. What struck us most was how many of us can take our priests for granted as well as the easy access we have to the Sacraments when we are not deployed to the far ends of the earth.     Deacon Danek is a transitional Deacon for the Diocese of Lincoln who is placed for the summer at All Saints Catholic Church in Holdrege-our home parish! Deacon Tim grew up in Lincoln, NE and was ordained a Deacon this past May, and God willing, will be ordained a priest May 27th, 2017! It has been our pleasure to have him in Holdrege for the summer, and you will love hearing the story of his vocation in this episode. We especially loved how he shares about his mother and father, and how God used them to show him the love of the Father and our Blessed Mother. We also chat with Deacon Danek about what life is like as a seminarian, and how we as lay people can both foster vocations and support seminarians in our Diocese.
